Okay, I’ve got a cool way to use brushes in Adobe Illustrator. In this example, I will use a border element from TheVectorLab set, Borders 001. The important thing to note is that your element must repeat horizontally.
Step 1)
Select your element and drag it into your brush palette.

GigPosters is a site that has a huge collection of rock & roll and music ‘gig’ posters for sale. They currently have more than 100,000 posters featuring more than 95,000 bands. Whenever I am in a design rut, this is one of the sites I go to for design and illustration inspiration!
Bittbox offers a ton of free vectors, textures, and other design resources. Check out their website. Jay posted these for me a while back. I plan on sending them more free stuff soon. I will keep you posted…
